Lots of FairFX Press Coverage over the Festive Period…
The festive period is normally a time to relax and forget about all your worries, but this year it didn’t stop newspapers discussing how much the UK pound sterling was falling against the euro.
Over the past few months, as saving pennies has moved higher on people’s lists, there have been no shortage in journalists prepared to advise readers to order a FairFX Currency Card.
Property Investment website PropertySecrets.com featured FairFX Chief Executive in an article when the £1 hit a lowly value of €1.0229.
In an article in the Telegraph, Heath was quoted as advising: “Anyone buying holiday spending money from Birmingham Airport will be faced with this dire exchange rate before the rest of the country, with Liverpool and Luton airports not far behind.”
The Independent reported on the 3rd January that tour operators have increased the price of package holidays by up to 40%. In the article Heath commented “I expect people will switch out of the euro countries because it's a really expensive place to go now.”
Thankfully over the past couple of days the Euro has weakened slightly against the £ Sterling with all eyes on interest rate announcements due on Thursday.
