Why I chose the FairFX Currency Card
My experience in the USA is that Travellers Cheques are fast becoming no less popular option for exchange and carrying large amounts of cash is an invitation to disaster so I was looking for a quick, convenient and safe way of getting at my money - Fairfx provides me with the flexibility I require and allows me to use the card everywhere I see the MasterCard logo.
Getting cash was easy too - I used more than one bank to withdraw cash and although I was charged for the transaction a $2 fee was the very least I could have expected to pay - Finally, the temptation to "spend more than I have" is removed because I can only load the card from what I have - so if people want safety, convenience and an endless amount of outlets to use the card without getting in debt then I can do no more than recommend this card for doing all that.
