I chose the FairFX card, as it was easy to register, had one of the best exchange rates available and was easy to top up via the internet.

The card was as simple to use as any other credit card and was easy to top up with no hidden fees! When I had a problem with a vendor, FairFX support went to great lengths to help me out and get the problem resolved.

I'd recommend the FairFX card to anyone because it is easy to use, has one of the best exchange rates available, has no hidden fees and customer support is excellent.

Having found my Fairfx euro card so useful when I last visited Madrid I decided to get a Fairfx Dollar card for a recent visit to Nevada and California. I got my card and topped it up over a period of time when I had some spare cash. Just before my trip I decided to get another as a backup in case of loss or theft. Fortunately neither occurred but it gave me peace of mind knowing if the worst happened I had a back up card in the safe to use. It was also nice to know that if one of my cards was lost or stolen I could contact Fairfx and cancel it transferring any money on it to my back up card.

Apart from the great rate of exchange I do like the convenience of using my cards either to purchase goods or draw cash out when needed. It was also handy that I could top up my cards from my computer when I was in the USA and running short of dollars. I did this several times and it all went very smoothly.

I have now got an extra Euro card for my next visit to Madrid. Hopefully I won’t have an emergency to need it but it is great to know I can use them both and always leave one in a safe place just in case.

On my first visit to USA I took dollar travellers' cheques but found them almost impossible to exchange. For my next visit, therefore, I looked for a safe, easily convertible alternative. One of the travel money websites suggested FairFX so I tried it.

It's brilliant because:-

1) The website is clear. The telephone part is easy. There is very little automated voice instruction. Instead a real person with a clear and reassuring voice takes you through the application process. Any problems are dealt with promptly and clearly either by e mail or telephone.

2) The fact that you can load the card at a time of your choosing means you can watch the currency movements and load the card at a favourable moment. The rates offered by FairFX compare very favourably with other exchange centres.

3) Any excess currency left on the card at the end of your foreign holiday simply remains there until you need it again. Thus my residue from last year was worth a lot more when I returned to USA 2 weeks ago. Other than the local bank fee, which one is warned about, there really are no charges when withdrawing cash from the foreign bank. I only encountered one place, and that a very small, independent retail outlet, where my card was not accepted. These 2 factors in particular meant I could operate easily for my entire holiday without having to carry large quantities of cash on my person.

I had a financially carefree holiday and would thoroughly recommend FairFX as a safe and convenient financial tool.

FairFX dollar cards are a great way to take money abroad. No hassles changing travellers cheque's, just use the card as you would any other debit card.

I could top it up via the Internet at any time and could have another one for my wife so we could shop independently.

I would certainly use this option again on my next holiday. Very safe and easy with PIN security, great back-up and can be purchased at competitive exchange rates.

I chose the FairFX Currency Card because when I wanted to travel it was the only card on the market that not only offered me amazing currency conversion rates, but also gave me the peace of mind that in just a week before I was set to fly off, I had a fully functional credit card that could be used anywhere in the world. It didn't matter if I was buying luggage, ordering a pizza or paying for a hotel stay - my FairFX card let me do everything I needed.

I rarely get to say this about a company but my experiences with the FairFX Currency Card were all really great - anytime I my card needed a top-up, I could easily use my bank card from back home to add more money to it and that was a lot easier than travelling down to buy some more foreign currency. The Currency Card works the same way as a normal Credit Card does and you even get an itemized summary of your purchases at FairFx.com - my summary? If you don't already have an FX card, you're really missing out. I'll never travel without it!

I would recommend the FairFX Currency Card to others because to put it simply, it's the easiest and most secure way for you to carry your money around when you travel. There's no need to worry about traveler's checks or loose cash getting lose - you just carry one card around with you and that's it!. It lets you spend less time worrying about currency and more time enjoying your holiday.

After much research I chose the FairFX Card due to their excellent rates and other people’s experiences.

It is extremely easy to top up the card and I had no issues using it online and in the USA, both for card transactions and obtaining cash at ATM's.

The customer service is excellent and I would highly recommend the FairFX Card to anyone.

I have had a FairFX US dollar travel money card for 1 year now and used it on several trips to the US.

I have been impressed with the ease of use of the website, promptness of the delivery of the card and on-line reloading, good rates and low fees, and general acceptability of the card abroad, and I have been recommending your service to friends.

I have just requested a Euro card and this was delivered promptly also, and I'm looking forward to using it on my holiday.

I chose the FairFX card because I travel to Paris at least once a month to see my family and this card seemed the best way of transferring pounds into euros, and it proved to be the best answer.

It's easy to top-up and a joy to use. I would certainly recommend it to everyone who travels to Europe.

Thankyou,

Yours Sincerely,

Geraldine, London.

A modern way to handle foreign currency, especially for US Dollars. A quick, easy and simple service along with easy transactions when paying for bills in restaurants and shops. I will definitely use FairFX for future holidays and trips outside the UK.

I just wanted to say I have recently returned from a 3month trip around the world and used your card with great success.

I visited Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, New Zealand and Tahiti and was able to use the card in all countries with no problems. (Editors note: The FairFX Anywhere Card is ideal for world travel) It was easy to top it up each time and I could see on line how much i was spending and where.

The only thing I would have liked more info on was when monies were blocked; it would have been useful to know who that money was allocated to. Apart from that I found it an extremely useful and effective way to use monies abroad without the hassle of travellers cheques with the added bonus that the card is not related to a bank account.

I will definitely use the card again and intend to apply for another card in euros for my holiday later this year.

Many thanks
