Having thoroughly researched the many different options available to me, I found that the FairFX Currency Card offered the best exchange rate, always giving me more for my money. It was an extremely convenient solution and meant that I didn’t have to handle large amounts of cash, and I could relax knowing that my card could be used almost anywhere. Loading my card with money was quick and easy and I would recommend this card to anyone who is thinking of travelling abroad and I certainly would never travel without it.

I was sceptical at first when my wife found out about Fairfx in a newspaper article.

But since using it when on holiday this year nothing could be simpler... and an excellent rate of exchange each time. I highly recommend this card!!

I saw an Executive of FairFx on television in April or May of 2009. This gentleman was explaining how FairFx worked. I was impressed with what I had heard and looked on the internet at the website.

I liked the idea of having a preloaded card at a very good rate and so I obtained one as I was going to Italy shortly after. I found the card worked well and I liked the idea of not having to carry too much cash around or have the hassle of travellers cheques.

There is no doubt FairFx gives the best exchange rates. I have just tried the cash service and I find that this is also excellent. Better exchange rates and free delivery if you purchase over £500.00p. Once again, Thank You.

I have just taken my family on a year long Round The World Trip, and used FairFX's card as my main means to obtain currency in the 25 countries we travelled through. It was an excellent service, and when needed they gave me quick and helpful support. I would not hesitate recommending them for this sort of travel.

I have tried several prepaid cards in the past, but was disappointed when using them outside the UK. This was because from the time the other cards were topped up with funds, to the time that they were used, currency rates wildly fluctuated and it was impossible to keep track of what funds were actually available. Not so with the FairFX card, which is converted into Euros or Dollars immediately and the amount remains the same until it is used. Simple and effective.

Secondly, the exchange rate that I get when using FairFX card far exceeds the rate that I get when using other services. This can make a considerable difference to spending power over the length of a holiday or business trip.

I am also delighted with the mobile phone top-up facility and the clear account information that is available online. Debits and credits seem to appear almost immediately on the online statement. Perfect for keeping track of spending.

Finally, customer service is second to none. The response to questions is always courteous and prompt. I have no hesitation in recommending the FairFX card as one of my best discoveries of the year!

Our experience with FairFX has been very satisfactory. We contacted you on our Son-in-law's recommendation. We were pleased to get a very good exchange rate as he had said. It was very simple to use the card, even for us oldies! It was definitely a very easy way to sort out our finances whilst on holiday, even being able to keep track of our expenditure. All our queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Fairfx to our friends.
Best wishes,

I have been using the FairFX Currency Card since September 2009 and found it the Best pre-paid card I could find on the Market. Not only is the service first class, fast and efficent but the charges are more than competitive. I am using two FairFX Currency Cards I take both to the USA when i visit and recently lost one card. I contacted FairFX they stopped the card and transferred the balance, no fuss and it was all done within 24hours. I think this service is fantastic and I am more than happy.

I would recommend you take two cards with you, do not keep in the same place so if anything happens you can transfer the balance.

Just made my first transaction with FairFX and it couldn't have been easier - best exchange rate around, money transferred from my bank account and my dollars ( not in overlarge denominations ) arrived less than 24 hours later via a free postal 'courier' service - ideal. Thanks very much.

The FairFX card was very convenient and easy to use. I have a Euro card and US Dollar card. The exchange rate was competitive and topping up while abroad at nil cost via internet banking was very convenient. There was no chip and pin in the US, so swiping and signature was all that was required. There is no charge at point of transaction unlike credit cards. The latter also gives a less preferential exchange rate.
